ANTHROPOLOGY

Across cultures, caregiving has been one of the most essential forms of human connection. Communities have always depended on people willing to tend to the sick, comfort the vulnerable, preserve knowledge, and provide care during moments when others are unable to care for themselves.

Objects associated with caregivers can therefore become more than occupational symbols—they can represent service, responsibility, compassion, and the human relationship between one person’s knowledge and another person’s need.

CULTURE

The Healing Hands honors the culture of nursing and the women and men whose work combines science, skill, advocacy, endurance, and compassion.

Nursing exists at the intersection of knowledge and humanity. Behind the scrubs, credentials, long shifts, clinical decisions, and demanding environments is a profession built around caring for people during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.

This two-piece artifact celebrates that responsibility and the community of professionals who continue to answer that call.

JEWELRY

The first bracelet pairs Jade and Citrine, creating a fresh composition of natural green and warm golden-yellow tones.

The second bracelet carries those same Jade and Citrine elements while introducing Hematite, adding a polished metallic contrast that gives the companion bracelet greater visual depth.

Together, the two bracelets create a coordinated set while maintaining individual character.

Materials: Jade · Citrine · Hematite

STORYTELLING

The Healing Hands tells the story of the person behind the profession.

The nurse who studies before earning the title. The nurse who works the long shift. The nurse who notices what others may miss. The nurse who advocates, reassures, educates, comforts, and continues showing up when the work becomes difficult.

Each bracelet represents a different dimension of that story—one bright and expressive, the other grounded by the metallic presence of Hematite.

Together, they become a wearable artifact honoring the knowledge, compassion, resilience, and service carried in a nurse’s hands.

The Meaning: Care · Knowledge · Compassion · Resilience · Service

This two-bracelet set is crafted with 8 mm stone beads in a Medium size.
