ANTHROPOLOGY

Across cultures, stars have served as symbols of navigation, knowledge, aspiration, ancestry, and connection. Long before modern instruments, people looked to the night sky for direction, creating stories and traditions around celestial patterns that helped communities understand both their surroundings and their place within them.

As symbols move through generations, their meaning becomes connected not only to what they represent, but also to the communities that continue to recognize and preserve them.

CULTURE

The Eastern Light draws inspiration from the rich traditions associated with the Order of the Eastern Star and the fellowship, service, charity, and shared values represented within its community.

Its distinctive combination of white, red, blue, green, and metallic tones transforms familiar colors into a visual expression of connection and tradition—honoring the women whose participation, service, and fellowship continue to carry that legacy forward.

JEWELRY

The first bracelet combines White Howlite, Red Resin-Covered Clear Quartz, Blue Agate, and Jade, creating a vivid composition of white, red, blue, and green.

The second bracelet carries Red Resin-Covered Clear Quartz, Blue Agate, and Jade, while Hematite introduces a polished metallic contrast that gives the companion bracelet additional depth.

Together, the two bracelets create a coordinated composition in which each color remains visually distinct while contributing to the complete design.

Materials: White Howlite · Red Resin-Covered Clear Quartz · Blue Agate · Jade · Hematite

STORYTELLING

The Eastern Light tells the story of women connected through tradition, fellowship, service, and a shared commitment to something larger than themselves.

Like stars used to navigate a journey, the women who came before establish points of reference for those who follow. Each generation brings its own experiences while remaining connected to traditions that have traveled through families, chapters, communities, and time.

This two-piece artifact honors that continuing story—the individual woman, the fellowship surrounding her, and the light carried forward from one generation to the next.
